Subject : HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION
POLICY
It is the responsibility of the HRD to maintain and preserve
the applications of prospective employees according to their suitability to
jobs in different functional areas.
To ensure the observance of this Policy, all recruitment
will be coordinated through the HRD. The recruitment, interviewing and
selection of any Departmental/Line Managers must have the prior approval of the
General Manager.
PROCEDURE
Personnel
Requisition and Interview
Ö The department that requires additional
manpower will submit a Manpower Requisition in the prescribed form.
Ö On receipt of the requisition, HRD will
check the Staff Budget and submit it to the General Manager for approval.
Ö After getting the approval of the
General Manager, HRD will get all the formalities done concerning prospective
candidates and consequently refer the applications to the concerned Department
Head for primary review of the background of the applicant.
Ö On the recommendation of the Head of
Department, HRD will arrange the date of interview.
Ö The Head of Department will conduct
interview and the Director of Human Resources will be a member in the Interview
Board.
Ö A candidate will be judged for
selection as per the criteria set in the Interview sheet.
Ö A candidate will be provisionally
selected for employment after approval by the General Manager.
Ö Written test for the prospective
employee will be organized by the HRD if recommended by the Head of Department.
Ö The evaluation of the interview result
will be compiled by the HRD which will be submitted to the Head of Department
for review in such cases, to be followed by face to face interview for final
selection
